Barbell club update! We are beginning our new 12 week cycle of barbell club this coming week. We are changing things up a little bit. We will be starting our Monday and Wednesday classes at 6:30 pm for this cycle. We have seen outstanding results in the last two cycles. To continue to challenge these athletes, we have also made changes to the programing and coaching Rotations. Coach Stew Peters will coach clean and jerk on Monday nights, Coach John Jarman will coach the snatch and ohs on Wednesday nights and coach John Nealey will coach the dead lift, bench press and squat on Saturday mornings. We want you all to benefit from the expertise that these coaches offer on all lifts. Contact us at email@example.com for more info. You do not need to be a member to join our barbell club.

Monday's work... Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces. We remember our fallen heroes and those who are in harm's way by doing today's WOD. "Murph" w/ 20# weight vest 1 mile run 100 Pull Up 200 Push Up 300 Squat 1 mile run In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it "Body Armor". From here on it will be referred to as "Murph" in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is. Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you've got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.
Thank you to Team Red White and Blue for all you do for the community. It is always a pleasure partnering up with you.
