Barbell club update! We are beginning our new 12 week cycle of barbell club this coming week. We are changing things up a little bit. We will be starting our Monday and Wednesday classes at 6:30 pm for this cycle. We have seen outstanding results in the last two cycles. To continue to challenge these athletes, we have also made changes to the programing and coaching Rotations. Coach Stew Peters will coach clean and jerk on Monday nights, Coach John Jarman will coach the snatch and ohs on Wednesday nights and coach John Nealey will coach the dead lift, bench press and squat on Saturday mornings. We want you all to benefit from the expertise that these coaches offer on all lifts. Contact us at info@crossfitembark.com for more info. You do not need to be a member to join our barbell club.

“Jump N Rope” jump ropes are here! CFE Members- these are the fantastic ones that were used in the jump rope / double under clinic that was held here last year. Reminder about schedule change this week. We will not be having open gym Thursday. We will have wods programmed at our regular class times. The box will be closed Friday for ribbon cutting and prep for Saturdays re grand opening celebration.

Attention Members~ This Thursday, 14 November, we will be hold a Mobility/Flexibility Clinic from 6am to 10am during Open Gym. The box is not typically open during Open Gym from 7am to 930am, however, I will make myself available at that time. Certain things that will be covered will be: -Foam Rolling -Lacrosse Ball -PVC Pipe -Indian Club -Banded Stretches -Static/Dynamic Stretches The main reason behind this is to show you proper ways to mobilize and stretch above and beyond what we already do as part of the Warm Up. This clinic will be free of charge. If by chance you are completely unable to make it, please let me know so that we can arrange something to get you caught up with what I will be instructing. *If you have your own foam roll or LAX Ball, be sure to bring it so that we have enough for everyone in the case that there is a large crew at one time. This is a continuous running clinic, so you do not have to be there for all four hours. However, I will start an hour block of instruction each hour. Can’t wait to see you all there!
