CrossFit Embark will be hosting a trial endurance class this Monday (2/27) at 7:30p. All are welcome! There will be no barbell included in the endurance classes. Destine had put in the hard work and seen the results! From Destine: Why do I love crossfit? Because for an hour a day I get to feel like a badass! But in all seriousness I love crossfit because it challenges me to overcome my fears and push myself mentally. Yes I get to lose weight and build muscle but what really keeps me going back is how much crossfit helps me with my anxiety. It gives me confidence in myself to conqueror a lot of my social anxiety and self doubt! It has given me the tools to realize much of the challenges you face in life are mental and you just have to change the way you think to conqueror them! I can proudly say that I’ve accomplished so much in the past few months but today I conquered the hand stand push up! I’ve always done well with throwing some weight around but body weight movements and gymnastics require me to trust in my strength and that’s not my strong suit. But today with the support of some awesome people I trusted my strength to try and to my surprise succeed!
